Here are the rankings after the first two events (100m and Shot Put). Hopefully everything is okay (I'm sure folk will let me know if there are errors!!!)
Well done to all athletes (and Officials!) for some good performances on a bitter night!
Please find the entry form below. Entries should be in by Friday 5th May. NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY!!
Here are the results from Sunday's competition. Well done to all athletes!
A great job done by our new (and old!!) Officials as well. No show without you.
To all competing athletes representing Shetland AAC.
The club has taken the decision to have a standard club vest that all athletes representing the club at competitions will be expected to wear. These vests are technical professional garments made by Macron (the same manufacturer as the official Scotland team kit) and are in the official registered colours of the club with the club emblem.
Make sure you check the standards before next Sunday so you know what time, distance,or heigt you are looking to achieve.
Best of luck
Please find attached the Competition Calendar for the upcoming summer season. This features both local, regional and national events.
This is an important document and all atletes are encouraged to study it carefully. If you have have any questions these should be directed to your coaches.
Have a great summer of competition!
Yes Folks, a few weeks earlier than normal but the competitive year kicks off on Sunday 26th March with the Club's Spring Open. This eventt is for Under 13's and up.
Please find the entry form below. It is important that forms, along with entry fees, are lodged with Charlotte by the closing date.
We have Level 1 Field Officials and Level 1 Timekeeping courses on 25th March. There will also be a Health and Safety course which must be attended by all candidates.
We cannot run competitions without a plentiful supply of officials to ensure events run efficiently and so I would ask you to get involved. These are entry level qualifications but absolutely vital. We really need at least 12 candidates for the Field and Timekeeping courses. Please comment below if you are keen to be involved and I will get back to you asap.
